Three Places to Visit This Easter
When it comes to places to stay near Oxford, we’re known for being the most convenient and comfortable. That said, there’s plenty to do this Easter in the area so we have rounded up three of our favourites. Why not join us? Don’t forget, Easter Sunday falls on the 21st April this year so if you’re looking for Oxfordshire hotels, make a break of it at Oxford Abingdon.
Spring at Bicester Village
Bicester Village is the shopping destination for fashionistas and casual shoppers alike. Whether you want to visit for a bargain, to explore high-end brands or simply want a bite to eat and to soak up the atmosphere, we’re one of the closest great value hotels near Bicester Village. If you’re visiting this Easter remember that they will be operating slightly different opening hours. Keep an eye out for Spring Fever with Eric Underwood and some beautiful seasonal decorations. Easter at Greys Court
Greys Court is only a 40-minute drive from our hotel, and this Easter the house will be fully embracing the spring spirit. Visit and you can enjoy a Brunner Easter celebration with Easter bakes, see the dining table set for lunch or take part in the very popular Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt! All this takes place until 23rd April, so you have plenty of time. The two different Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts have been designed for younger and older children – will your little ones be able to beat the quiz and find all the sheep? Find out more here.
Easter at Blenheim Palace
Blenheim Palace is the jewel in Oxfordshire’s crown and this Easter there is a lot going on for you to enjoy. The Pleasure Gardens will be transformed for the delight of young and old alike – expect interactive experiences, family-friendly activities, trails, shows and much more. There’s far too much to list, but it’s the only place you need to visit this Easter for a fun day out. Don’t forget to bring some change for the fairground rides, as some activities incur an extra charge. See the full timetable of activities here
