A Refurbishment Update for our Oxfordshire Hotel
As one of the great places to stay near Oxford, the Oxford Abingdon Hotel is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment.
Whilst the existing hotel is still open during the refurbishment, the Oxford Abingdon Hotel has initiated the construction of a new wing with additional bedrooms. That will bring the total number of bedrooms to 150 spread across four floors.
The work will be starting soon on the new wing and in addition to the new bedrooms, a bar, restaurant, fitness centre and meeting rooms are also planned to complete the remodelling. Once the new wing is finished, the hotel will renovate the existing bedrooms which are currently bookable.
The full make-over will be finalised by Winter 2018 when the hotel will join Hilton’s flagship and operate under the name Hilton Garden Inn, Abingdon Oxford. Thanks to its fresh new development the Oxford Abingdon Hotel will stand out amidst other Oxfordshire hotels as a modern and comfortable hotel for a quiet night.
The new Bedrooms
The hotel’s bedrooms will be transformed into stylish Next Generation Rooms; in each room, you will find a comfortable Suite Dreams® by Serta bed as well as black-out curtains to allow for a peaceful night’s sleep.
Whether you will be planning a leisure or business stay, the bedrooms will be conveniently equipped to suit your needs. All the rooms will have an LCD TV to watch your favourite programmes, USB sockets suitably placed in the room for charging and complimentary Wi-Fi connections, allowing you to browse the internet. With a sizeable desk and modern chair, all furnishings will be chosen to allow you to work comfortably.
In order to make you feel at home, the bedrooms will have all the necessary amenities including a coffee/tea maker, a mini-fridge, a hair dryer and an ironing board. The ensuite bathrooms will be redesigned to include Granite Vanities and glass screen showers and will include all essential toiletries.
